In recent years, the application of electronic inspection of real estate lease agreements signed between the lessor and the lessee has been activated, a necessary procedure since the inspection of the lease is the tool for protecting the rights of both parties.
In the past, the endorsement was done at the Tax Office where an employee would consider and record the lease manually, a time-consuming process that is now handled electronically.
It is submitted electronically within one month from the date of signature using the unique taxisnet codes and the form must be ‘accepted’ by the lessee.
Thus there is a complete electronic file for property leases and now and in the future the lease registration number will be required by other applications of taxisnet (information system of the Ministry of Economic Affairs) as in the lease data filled in the E2 form.
It should be noted that a private agreement is drawn up and signed at the beginning of any professional, civil or other lease, between the parties concerned for the protection of both the owner and the tenant, and it serves as evidence to any competent public authority (e.g. courts, tax authorities for the assignment of unpaid rent, etc.).
